Andr� J. Bourque joined CGI in 1999 and he is currently Executive Vice-President and Chief Legal Officer. Prior to joining CGI, Andr� was involved in the private practice of law, namely in technology and intellectual property transactions, including outsourcing and other strategic commercial alliances. Andr� also held senior-level positions, notably with a leading international information technology (IT) company and a major financial conglomerate. He began his career as a trial lawyer with a prominent Montreal-based law firm where he specialized in civil and professional liability matters as well as in insurance law. Andr� is a member of the Quebec Bar and the Canadian Bar Association. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Jeanne-Mance Healthcare and Social Services Foundation.
