Daniel H. Melvin is a partner and member of the Health Law Department of McDermott Will & Emery LLP. Daniel�s practice is focused on ambulatory clinical joint ventures with physicians, including ambulatory surgical centers, vascular labs, imaging centers, radiation therapy centers, cardiac cath and diagnostic centers, sleep labs and in-office physician diagnostic facilities. He also has substantial experience counseling clients on fraud and abuse, physician self-referral, and Medicare reimbursement issues raised by financial arrangements with physicians.
Program co-chair for McDermott Will & Emery�s 2007 Medical Imaging Symposium, Daniel speaks and writes frequently on clinical joint ventures, medical imaging, and health care regulatory and payment issues. He is co-author of the book, A Guide to Complying with Stark Physician Self-Referral Rules.
