David is a 35-year veteran of the oil and gas industry. He worked his way through college as a mud logging engineer and field landman, while studying geology and economics. He was awarded a B.Sc. from Louisiana State University. Upon graduating from college, David entered Shell Oil Company�s land management training program. He later joined Doran & Braddock where he received training in subsurface mapping, seismic and log interpretation, and negotiation tactics. Mr. Braddock then founded Braddock Exploration Company, Inc., and Gulf South Operators, Inc. In 1990, David, began buying, selling and trading oil and gas properties for Parker & Parsley. When Parker & Parsley merged with Mesa Petroleum to create Pioneer Natural Resources, he served as Corporate Land Manager and was Senior Director of Negotiations for its Business Development group. Mr. Braddock initiated the formation of Broad Oak Energy in late 2005 and has led it since that time through its capitalization and subsequent start-up. |
