Dulcey Lima, C.O. OTR/L received her bachelor�s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Illinois. She attended Northwestern University Prosthetic/Orthotic Center and became certified in orthotics. She has lectured throughout the United States and Europe and has published several professional articles including:Overview of the Causes, Treatment, and Orthotic Management of Lower Limb Spasticity, Team Management of Hip Revision Patients Using a Post-Op Hip Orthosis, and Helping Hips Hold Up. Ms. Lima is a lecturer at several universities including Northwestern University�s Orthotic Program, and has conducted numerous seminars on TC2 Total Contact, Total Control Orthotic Management System. She is presently working with Orthomerica�s Research and Development Team to develop new products, and updating the clinical information for the STARband cranial remolding orthosis. Before joining Orthomerica she worked for thirteen years as a certified orthotist in the Chicago area, and is currently a Clinical Education Manager with Orthomerica Products, Inc. |
