Francisco A. (Frank) Ordonez, 56, is a vice president of Delphi Corporation and president of Delphi Product & Service Solutions (formerly Delphi Aftermarket Operations). He is also a member of the Delphi Strategy Board, the company's top policy-making group.
Ordo�ez began his career as a co-op student at the General Motors (GM) Cadillac Division in 1970 and went on to hold a number of positions with the automaker including executive assistant to the group executive of the Mechanical Components Group. During his tenure at GM, Ordo�ez also served as finance manager during the establishment of GM Espa�a from 1981 to 1984 and as finance director for the company's worldwide purchasing function, where he was instrumental in establishing policies and procedures for its global purchasing operations.
Ordo�ez joined Delphi in 1988 and held a number of finance and business planning positions. He has held responsibility for a variety of functions, including capital management, portfolio management and GM's partnership issues. Ordo�ez was director of finance for Delphi Safety & Interior Systems, where he was also a leader of the company's Occupant Protection Business Team.
Ordo�ez was named general manager of Product & Service Solutions in October 1999, when the unit commenced operations as a new division of Delphi. As the first president of the division, Ordo�ez is responsible for the global business and brand strategy of Product & Service Solutions as it relates to its service, automotive aftermarket and consumer electronic product offerings.
A native of Havana, Cuba, Ordo�ez earned bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from the University of Detroit. He serves as a board member for the Motor Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) and is a former board member of the University of Detroit Jesuit High School.
