Dr. Heaton was appointed by the Board of Directors as a Class II director on June 14, 2000 to fill a board vacancy. In March 2005, Mr. Heaton was appointed as Chairman of the Special Committee of Independent Directors. From 1982 to present he has been a professor of Finance at Brigham Young University and between 1988 and 1990 was a visiting professor of Finance at Harvard University. Dr. Heaton is a director of MITY Enterprises, Inc., a publicly traded manufacturer of furniture in Orem, Utah. Dr. Heaton holds a Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science/Mathematics and a Master�s in Business Administration from Brigham Young University, as well as a Master�s degree in Economics and a Ph.D. in Finance from Stanford University. |
