Mr. Jacques Roy has been Vice President, Finance and Corporate Development of Omega Laboratories Limited, a privately held pharaceutical company, since July 2005. Prior to joining Omega, Mr. Roy held various positions with Fonds solidarit� des travailleurs du Qu�bec (F.T.Q.), a development capital fund in Qu�bec.
Mr. Roy has more than twenty years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and venture capital. His experience includes five years at RoyNat, in Montreal (1977-1979 and 1985-1986); ten years with CitiBank, in Montreal (1986-1989) and in Toronto (1990-1995), and four years, in Montreal, with ABB Canada (1998-2001).
He also held general and financial management positions at Nadwood Corp. for two years (1980-1981) and spent three years at The Gazette (1982-1984) as a journalist in the Business and Economy section.
Mr. Roy has been a director for some fifteen companies. He presently sits on the Board of three companies in the health sciences sector. |
