Jim Diller joined the Intersil Board of Directors following the acquisition of Elantec Semiconductor in May 2002. Mr. Diller was a Director of Elantec since 1986 and was Chairman of the Board of Elantec from 1997 to 2002. He served as Elantec�s President and Chief Executive Officer from November 1998 to July 2000. Mr. Diller is a founder of PMC-Sierra Inc. and was its President and Chief Executive Officer from 1983 to 1997; he is currently Vice Chairman of the Board. Mr. Diller was formerly a director of Sierra Wireless a provider of wireless data communications hardware and software products. In addition Mr. Diller serves on the board of several privately held companies. Mr. Diller holds a B.S. degree in physics from the University of Rhode Island. |
