Mr. Jones is responsible for overseeing KANA�s general counsel�s office, human resources, information technology, and overall business operations. Mr. Jones has over 20 years experience in leading software companies� business operations. He served as senior vice president, CIO of Symantec. Prior to VERITAS� merger with Symantec, Mr. Jones served as VERITAS� Chief Administrative Officer, the role he held at OpenVision prior to OpenVision�s merger with VERITAS. During his tenure at VERITAS, Mr. Jones led the company�s operations and administration as it grew from $80 million to over $2 billion in annual revenues by the time it was acquired by Symantec in 2005. Prior to OpenVision, Mr. Jones was senior corporate counsel for Oracle Corporation. Mr. Jones holds a B.S. in architecture from Howard University; a M.S. in City Planning from the University of California Berkeley; and a J.D. from the University of California Berkeley. He is a member of the California Bar. |
