Kenneth D. Noonan, Ph.D. has served as a member of our Board of Directors since April 2002. Dr. Noonan is Partner at LEK Consulting LLP based in London, where he leads the firm�s life sciences practice in the U.K. and Europe, with responsibility for pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and in vitro diagnostics. Prior to joining LEK, he was Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Applera Corporation, where he had responsibility for developing strategy and building corporate alliances for both Celera Genomics and Applied Biosystems. Dr. Nonnan�s previous positions include Vice President at Booz-Allen & Hamilton and head of its European Pharmaceutical Practice, and Founder and Managing Director of The Wilkerson Group Ltd., the European arm of The Wilkerson Group, Inc. He also previously held senior operating positions in both the diagnostics and research products industries. Dr. Noonan holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Princeton University and a B.S. in biology from St. Joseph�s University in Philadelphia.
