Dr. Prendiville is an ophthalmologist certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and practicing in Arizona. Dr. Prendiville received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Loyola Marymount University where he graduated magna cum laude. He received his Medical Doctor Degree from Medical College of Wisconsin in 1980, and performed his Internship in Internal Medicine at Long Beach Veteran�s Administration Hospital. He underwent Ophthalmology Residency training at Martin Luther King Hospital/Drew Medical Center from 1982 to 1985 where he served as Chief Resident for one year. Dr. Prendiville was the first ophthalmologist in Arizona to implant a toric intraocular lens during cataract surgery for the correction of astigmatism. Also, he has served in various supervisory roles such as Chairman of the Department of Surgery, Chief of Medical Staff for two years, and a member of the Board of Directors for four years at Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood, Arizona. |
