Dr. Stone is a practicing orthopaedic surgeon and Chairman of The Stone Foundation for Sports Medicine and Arthritis Research at The Stone Clinic in San Francisco. Dr. Stone specializes in sports medicine, with a special interest in knee and shoulder injuries, and has lectured around the world as an expert in orthopaedic sports medicine, xenotransplantation, cartilage and meniscal growth, replacement and repair. Dr. Stone is the named inventor on fifty issued patents with additional patents pending, has received nine research grants, and has over forty publications.
