Kurt G. Briscoe, a member of the firm�s New York City office, devotes his practice to patent, trademark and other intellectual property matters as well as trade secret law. He regularly represents domestic and international clients in connection with the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications, licensing agreements, due diligence and nondisclosure agreements.
Kurt was an examiner in the United States Patent and Trademark Office from 1983 until 1988 when he entered private practice. He was a partner in the firm of Sprung Kramer Schaeffer & Briscoe, a New York intellectual property boutique, before he joined Norris, McLaughlin & Marcus. Most of Kurt�s practice, including his experience as a patent examiner, has been in the field of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.
