Lee Daugherty, Community Banking Officer, joined First Reliance in April of 2004. As the Community Banking Officer, Mr. Daugherty�s responsibilities include overseeing the areas of Marketing, Product Development, Retail Sales, Service Excellence and delivery throughout the organization. Prior to becoming the Community Banking Officer, Mr. Daugherty held the position of Customer Systems Manager. In that position, he oversaw the successful development and launch of the banks ACCESSLive Customer Care Center, the bank�s communication system, and established communication standards. Additionally, under Mr. Daugherty�s leadership as founding leader of the bank�s CARE Team, the bank�s Customer First and Easy To Do Business With standards were established.
Mr. Daugherty�s career began in 1991 with BellSouth Corporation when he was hired as Account Executive for Digital Services in eastern South Carolina. During his four years with BellSouth, Mr. Daugherty generated over $1.5 million dollars in annual sales. In 1995, Mr. Daugherty joined AT&T where he served as an Account Manager until 1999. Mr. Daugherty�s duties included managing numerous accounts that produced more than $2 million in sales annually for the company. From 1999 thru 2001, Mr. Daugherty�s focus was working directly with senior management and the Board of Directors of various companies. Mr. Daugherty left AT&T in 2001 to form his own consulting company whose primary focus was on voice and data systems as they relate to interaction with work flows.
Education:
Mr. Daugherty is a graduate of Francis Marion University where he earned a BBA in Management. While employed with AT&T, Mr. Daugherty received numerous professional degrees through AT&T�s World University in Englewood CO in the areas of Advanced System Design, Professional Image, and Diversity in the Workplace.
Memberships:
Mr. Daugherty�s passion for preserving the environment is seen through his long term involvement with Ducks Unlimited, Inc. During the 12 years he has been associated with Ducks Unlimited, he has been an active supporting committee member and recently accepted the position of Area Chairman. Mr. Daugherty has previously served as District Chairman for Green Wing, the youth arm of Ducks Unlimited. Involved in his church, Mr. Daugherty is currently President of Lutheran Men in Mission. Mr. Daugherty was previously honored as the Volunteer of the Year by the City of Florence Recreation Department. |
