Manfred Baumbach is a corporate partner in the Frankfurt office of Faegre & Benson and heads the capital markets law practice. He has significant experience in corporate, banking, securities, capital markets, banking supervision law and structured finance. Manfred Baumbach advises national and multinational organisations on M & A transactions in conjunction with public companies, banks and insurance companies. He also advises on corporate governance and compliance issues. He has particular experience with regulations governing public companies, securities (corporate action, shareholders� meeting, corporate governance) and capital markets law (insider law, director�s dealings and stock exchange law). Manfred Baumbach is a member of the Frankfurt Bar Association and is admitted to the appellate court in Frankfurt. He is also a member of both the banking law association and the German attorney association. Furthermore, he is a founder member of the latter�s banking and capital markets team. Prior to joining Faegre & Benson, Mr. Baumbach was partner in the Frankfurt office of the Heussen law firm (formerly PwC-Veltins Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft), where he specialized in corporate, securities, banking and capital markets law.
