Mr. Naughton is the chief financial officer and a senior vice president for Cerner a role he�s held since 1996. In his role Mr. Naughton is responsible for the company�s financial operations and business model.
A certified public accountant and member of the Kansas Bar Mr. Naughton joined Cerner in 1992 to establish an internal tax function in the company. He soon took over the financial leadership of Cerner�s mergers acquisitions and financing activities. In 1994 he was promoted to director of finance. Two years later he was appointed chief financial officer.
Mr. Naughton brings an extensive background in the financial realm including experience at KPMG and various financial management roles at The Marley Company a Kansas City-based multinational manufacturing company. Mr. Naughton is a past president of the Kansas City chapter of Tax Executives Institute.
Mr. Naughton holds a bachelor�s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University and a juris doctorate from the University of Kansas. |
