Mr. Rubin is a Managing Director at Chanin Capital Partners. He has more than 20 years of experience advising on restructurings, recapitalizations and corporate finance engagements. Recent Chanin Capital Partners assignments include American Pad & Paper, Atlantic Express Transportation, Borden Chemicals and Plastics, Buster Brown Apparel, Delphi Corp., Fine Host Corporation, Goss Graphic Systems, Harry Winston Jewelers, Manhattan Bagel Company, Mississippi Chemical, Paragon Trade Brands, Raintree Resorts, Sunterra, TV Filme, and Zeta Consumer Products. Mr. Rubin founded and initiated the operations of Price Waterhouse Publications LLC, the firm�s industry and company research subsidiary. As President, he directed a team of financial analysts covering publicly traded retailers and distributors in various sectors including food, drug, mass merchandisers, specialty apparel and accessories, full-line department stores, office supplies, home improvement and consumer electronics.Earlier, Mr. Rubin was a Senior Manager in Price Waterhouse�s Corporate Finance and Restructuring Group, where he led or participated in various restructuring assignments including Cordiant (Saatchi & Saatchi), Drexel Burnham Lambert, Feuer Leather, First Republic Bank, HHL Financial, Leslie Fay, Payroll Express, and Seven-up/RC Bottling Co. of Southern California.Mr. Rubin earned his Master of Business Administration at Duke University�s Fuqua School of Business and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
