Mr. Mark McComb is Select Staffing�s Chief Operating Officer. Mr. McComb joined Select Staffing in 1991 and has progressed through virtually every level of the organization.
Since January 2005, Mr. McComb has worked with Branch Management to oversee the staffing, training, and management of Select Staffing�s branch field offices. During this time, he:
Managed 25% sales growth while controlling staff expenses to less than 15% increase.
Developed standard performance metrics and regular management review systems that communicate accountability and production expectations.
Pioneered training strategies with detailed focus on beginning, intermediate and advanced Recruiter and Management training.
Implemented customer service assessment programs including internal telephone and in-person shopping reviews.
Coordinated quality fill standards, with the Sales and Risk Management departments, achieving increased sales and customer satisfaction while reducing workers compensation losses.
Improved recruiting efficiency and employee satisfaction by reducing the application process by 45% while improving applicant screening.
Mr. McComb began his career with Select Staffing in 1991 as a Recruiter where he learned to effectively screen and place applicants and to develop loyal customer relationships. He was entrusted with some of the largest and most valued customers within the company. From 1992 to 1993, Mr. McComb excelled in his role as an Account Representative, forging over 80 new customer relationships and propelling the branch to achieve 32% sales growth.
As a Branch Manager from 1994 to 1998, Mr. McComb developed a Sales and Recruiting team that produced 400% Revenue, GM, and Account Base growth. In addition to staff development and customer relations, Mr. McComb oversaw loss prevention, accounts receivable, payroll and billing.
In 1998 Mr. McComb was appointed Regional Manager, and his stewardship eventually expanded to managing the Greater Los Angeles region with responsibility for more than $100 million in sales and over 5,000 temporary employee assignments. Mr. McComb handled the assimilation of six competitor acquisitions, and he was the project manager for the entire Remedy acquisition. He has developed strategic staffing solutions that have saved millions of dollars for customers and residual revenue for Select Staffing.
