Michael B. Bracy (age 65) has been a director of Itron since 1992. Mr. Bracy�s term as a director expires in 2009. Until his retirement in August 1997 Mr. Bracy was executive vice president chief financial officer and a director of NorAm Energy Corp. (NorAm) previously known as Arkla Inc. an integrated natural gas company engaged in gathering and processing natural gas inter-and intra-state pipeline transportation and retail natural gas distribution. After joining NorAm in 1984 he held various executive positions including chief executive officer of the Arkla Pipeline Group. Before joining NorAm Mr. Bracy served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of El Paso Natural Gas Company which he joined in 1977. Mr. Bracy is also a member of the board of directors of TEPPCO Partners LP a publicly traded limited partnership.
