Mr. Southerland is the sales and product manager for Sekurit, the automotive anti-theft and immobilization system. He is President of Dealer 1st, a distributor of electronic asset protection systems. Mr. Southerland�s auto industry experience includes National Sales Manager and VP of Sales for United Car Care, a Denver-based warranty provider, Executive VP of AVID Insurance Services, a Dunedin, Florida after-market insurance provider, Executive VP of Marketing & Sales for Automobile Protection Co. which markets EasyCare vehicle service contracts that cover the cost to repair or replace components which suffer mechanical and electrical failure, after the manufacturers' warranty expires. Many EasyCare vehicle service contracts also include emergency roadside assistance, trip interruption and rental car benefits. APCO was acquired by Ford Motor Company. He was National Sales Manager of Warrentech Corp. of Dallas which is a warranty provider. Previously, he served as President of United Service Protection, also a warranty provider. |
