Experience
Monica Williams concentrates her practice in the area of commercial litigation with a focus on commercial collections and creditors� rights. She regularly represents clients in replevin and garnishment actions in state court and also represents creditors in bankruptcy proceedings in federal court.
Ms. Williams� labor and employment law practice includes the representation of clients in employment disputes in both state and federal courts as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Florida Commission on Human Rights.

Ms. Williams is a former law clerk to the Honorable James S. Moody, Jr., United States District Judge, United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Prior to her clerkship, Ms. Williams practiced labor and employment law with a boutique labor and employment law firm. Ms. Williams is a member of the George Edgecomb Bar Association and previously served as the organization�s First Vice President. She is also a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and a former board member of the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers. Ms. Williams is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
