A partner in the Litigation Department of the firm, Mr. Georgeson�s practice focuses on commercial litigation, construction law and premises liability defense.
Mr. Georgeson is chairman of the McDonald Carano Wilson LLP Construction Law Practice Group. He is proud to serve as counsel for the Nevada Chapter of the Associated General Contractors (AGC), along with local, regional, and national developers, contractors, subcontractors and construction industry suppliers. He regularly teaches at construction law seminars and is the author of the construction law column for the AGC Insider Magazine. His premises liability practice includes defending some of Reno's largest casinos against premises liability and negligent security claims.
Mr. Georgeson practices in state and federal court at the trial and appellate level. He also has extensive experience in arbitration and mediation. He is admitted to practice in all Nevada state courts as well as the Federal District Court for the District of Nevada, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a third generation Nevadan.
