Peter Humphreys is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm�s New York office. Peter is a member of the Firm�s Structured Finance Department, where his practice focuses on a wide range of securitizations including financings of credit card receivables, franchise loans, home equity loans, commercial mortgages, residential mortgages, auto loans, utility receivables and stranded costs, intellectual property, trade receivables, health care receivables, bank loans, and equipment and operating leases. Peter also works on structured capital transactions for insurance companies. He also has experience in other public and private capital markets transactions, and the development of new financial products for U.S. and offshore transactions in both the public and private markets.
Peter has been named three times to the BTI Consulting Client Service All-Star Team based on a survey of corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 companies. He has also been selected as one of the leading securitization lawyers in the world by Euromoney. Peter was named one of the top 25 structured finance lawyers in the United States in Legal Media Group's Expert Guides to the Leading Lawyers - Best of the Best USA 2008.
