Pierre Karl P�ladeau, Director. Mr. P�ladeau has served as a Director of Sun Media Corporation since February 1999. Mr. P�ladeau is President and Chief Executive Officer of Quebecor Inc. and President and Chief Executive Officer of Quebecor World Inc. Mr. P�ladeau joined Quebecor�s communications division in 1985 as Assistant to the President. Since then, he has occupied various positions in the Quebecor group of companies. In 1994, Mr. P�ladeau helped establish Quebecor Printing Europe and, as its President, oversaw its growth in France, the United Kingdom, Spain and Germany to become one of Europe�s largest printers by 1997. In 1997, Mr. P�ladeau became Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Quebecor Printing Inc. (which has since become Quebecor World Inc.). In 1999, Mr. P�ladeau became President and Chief Executive Officer of Quebecor Inc. Mr. P�ladeau was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Videotron Ltd. from July 2001 until June 2003, and was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Quebecor Media Inc. from August 2000 to March 2004. Mr. P�ladeau sits on the board of numerous Quebecor group companies and is active in many charitable and cultural organizations. |
