Pierre Cardin serves as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for EADS North America. He is also Corporate Secretary for most of EADS North America�s subsidiaries.
Before joining EADS North America, Cardin was within the EADS Group Legal Department Vice-President, Head of the Contracts, Litigations and Intellectual Property Department at the Paris Headquarters of EADS.
Cardin began his legal career in a law firm in Montreal, Canada as a general practitioner in 1983. In 1986, Mr. Cardin moved to Paris, France, to continue his legal studies and then work in the Paris law firm Lafarge Fl�cheux as part of its association with the Montreal law firm Lafleur Brown de GrandPr� (now Gowlings Lafleur).
In 1990, Cardin joined the Matra Group as in-house counsel and until July 2000 when he moved to EADS at its creation, he was General Counsel of the space joint venture Matra Marconi Space (now Astrium). Cardin graduated with an LL.b from Universit� de Sherbrooke, Canada in 1982, from the Quebec Bar School in 1983 and from Universit� de Paris I Sorbonne-Pantheon, France in 1987. He has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1983. Cardin was born in Montreal, Canada. |
