In 1982 Pradeep co-founded Unique Business Systems based on the commitment to provide the highest quality software products and support to clients. This commitment allowed UBS to grow to over 100 employees with 5 offices in North America. UBS currently sells and supports inventory management, asset tracking and scheduling software products to three different vertical markets: Video Rentals, Photo Processing and Equipment and General Rental. Prior to starting UBS, Pradeep worked in several positions at Atlantic Richfield for 8 years. In his last position as Planning Consultant in the Corporate Planning group, he worked to prepare the long range capital spending and revenue plans. Outside his professional career, Pradeep is also active in the LA community. As a leader for the Society of India America, he works to organize community service events including fund raising for organizations like Meals on Wheels and the American Cancer Society. Pradeep graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 1968 with a Bachelor�s degree in Engineering. He also has a Ph.D. in Operations Research with minors in Economics and Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1975. While working at ARCO he also taught two classes at the UCLA business school as a guest lecturer. |
