Randal Sergesketter is Senior Vice President for the Worldwide Commercial & Consumer Equipment Division of Deere & Company, responsible for worldwide manufacturing, engineering and supply management for the division. He has held the position since June 2005.
Sergesketter began his career at Deere & Company in 1980 through the company�s summer training program, and became a manufacturing management trainee in 1981. He has held a number of engineering and management positions, including Director, Worldwide Ag Order Fulfillment; General Manager, John Deere Ottumwa Works; and General Manager, John Deere Harvester Works.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Purdue University and a master's in business administration from St. Ambrose University. He has completed managerial and executive development programs at several universities.
Sergesketter has served on a variety of boards including United Way and Boy Scouts of America. In 2006, he was recognized by Purdue University's College of Technology as one of its Distinguished Technology Alumni. He currently serves as John Deere's liaison to the Purdue College of Technology and is a member of the Dean's Executive Council. He also serves as the executive contact for North Carolina State University.
