Richard Langseder serves as senior vice president of business development for Curtiss-Wright Flow Control. In that role he is responsible for defining and driving strategic development for the organization, working to evaluate and drive new business opportunities including strategic alliances and mergers and acquisitions while also overseeing market and account expansion, business analysis and growth strategy. With over 42 years of experience in the flow control industry including 38 years with Curtiss-Wright and its predecessor company Target Rock Corp., Mr. Langseder has extensive experience in identifying and initiating viable solutions that add value to customers and support top and bottom line results.Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Langseder held a number of senior management positions with the company including interim president, senior vice president of military programs and director of engineering. Before joining Curtiss-Wright�s Target Rock subsidiary in 1967, Mr. Langseder served as a flight test engineer for Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corp. and as a research and development engineer for General Dynamics/Electric Boat Division.Mr. Langseder holds a Bachelor�s of Engineering degree from the City College of New York and has completed graduate courses in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration at the Polytechnic Institute of New York. Mr. Langseder is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Delaware and California and is active in numerous professional organizations including the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE), American Nuclear Society (ANS), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Naval Institute, The Navy League and the Valve Manufacturers Association (VMA).. |
