Mr. Dean was named a director of Specialty Underwriters� Alliance, Inc. in May 2004. Mr. Dean is a private investor. From October 2000 to December 2003, Mr. Dean was a Managing Director of Ernst & Young Corporate Finance LLC, a wholly owned broker-dealer subsidiary of Ernst & Young LLP, serving as member of the Board of Managers from December 2001 to December 2003. From June 1976 to September 2000, Mr. Dean was employed by Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he practiced corporate and securities law and represented numerous public and private companies and investment banks. Mr. Dean was Partner-in-Charge of the Orange County, California, office from 1993 to 1996, was a member of the law firm�s Executive Committee from 1996 to 1999 and co-chaired its financial institutions practice related to banks, thrifts, mortgage and insurance companies. He currently serves as a director, chairman of the compensation committee and member of the audit committee of ResMAE Financial Corporation. |
