Scott Fedisin has enjoyed a 16-year career in health and fitness training. Prior to joining Sea Island Resorts in April, 2006 Scott served as Director of Fitness at PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach, Florida.
Scott�s life-long passion for athletics led to his being a competitive rugby player and trained Jeet Kune Do fighter. He has trained professional natural bodybuilders, Hall of Fame catcher for the New York Mets Gary Carter, and beach volleyball stars. He has also spent time studying under and gaining useful insight from Jay Caulfield, trainer for hockey legend Mario Lemieux.
Today, his primary focus is fitness assessment and golf stretching. He has trained golfers on the Golden Bear, Nationwide and various other local tours. As an Optimal Performance Training Specialist, he assists those looking to lose weight, develop a fitness plan for healthy living and sharpen their golf game. Scott has many notable certifications from A.C.S.M, A.F.A.A., N.S.C.A., All-American Pilates and Fitness Institute.
Scott received a degree in Exercise Physiology from Slippery Rock University, where he was an avid rugby player. Scott and his wife, Angie, live on St. Simons Island with their son Will, 14 months. |
