Dr. Smith leads project underwriting, tariff and regulatory analysis, and revenue forecasting. He has over twenty-five years of experience in the energy industry. Dr. Smith�s expertise includes long-term utility resource planning, technology modeling, competition analysis, energy market-price forecasting, transmission grid modeling, and the development of analytical tools for project operational simulation, economics, and financial analysis. Prior to joining RealEnergy, Dr. Smith was a Senior Consultant for Henwood Energy Services where his analytical work product supported over $1.5 billion in energy project financing. Previously, he spent five years with Barkovich and Yap, Inc. as a regulatory consultant and seven years with PG&E where he supervised the application of production simulation and costing models in electric resources planning. |
