Stephen Soutullo has been a higher education professional since 1981. Consulting from his current position as assistant vice president for enrollment management at Southeastern Louisiana University, Mr. Soutullo offers a broad range of experience in enrollment management, including admissions, student retention, financial aid, and staff development.
In his current position, Mr. Soutullo coordinates the development of Southeastern Louisiana University�s strategic enrollment initiatives. He oversees undergraduate, graduate, and international student recruitment, financial aid, and freshman orientation, among other areas. He has played a key role in implementing technological efficiencies at the university, including a new PeopleSoft administrative software system, online course registration, a Web-based application process, and other technological advances that have greatly improved campuswide communication and coordination. Previously in his tenure at Southeastern Louisiana, Mr. Soutullo has also served as the director of academic services, registrar, and director of high school relations and orientation.
Awards, associations, and education: Mr. Soutullo received the Southeastern Louisiana University President�s Award for Excellence in Service in 1998. The American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) presented him with an award for Best State/Regional program for establishing an annual statewide articulation workshop for high school counselors and college recruitment personnel. He is a member of AACRAO, and has presented at numerous national and regional conferences on enrollment management. Mr. Soutullo received an M.Ed. in school administration and supervision from Southeastern Louisiana University. |
