Steven A. Brookner is an executive managing director, overseeing all business development activities for NCB�s personal, commercial and multifamily lines of business. He is also president and chief executive officer of the wholly owned subsidiary, NCB, FSB.
Mr. Brookner joined NCB in 1997 as managing director of NCB's Strategic Initiatives Group, responsible for new market and product development. In 1999, he was named managing director of NCB's real estate division, responsible for real estate origination and secondary marketing operations.
Prior to NCB, Mr. Brookner served as a partner with Hamilton Securities Group, and was a principal and founder of BNC & Associates, a real estate consultancy and development firm specializing in the resolution of distressed assets.
Mr. Brookner holds a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and a master's degree in business administration from New York University. He is a member of the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association and the Mortgage Bankers Association.
