Mr. Singer is currently CFO, a board member and a principal investor in SmartConnect, the first company to receive funding from the Vegas Valley Angels. At SmartConnect, Singer has assisted in its venture financings as well as working to focus the business into a narrow group of high value technology product offerings. He is also a board member and member of the investment committee of Vegas Valley Angels, an angel investing organization based here in Las Vegas. Singer has 25 years of experience in both finance and operations. After spending 15 years in investment banking, Singer led an investor group that seed funded eCollege, a software startup in the distance education arena that is now one of only two publicly traded e-learning companies. He later served as the Company�s CFO. He also spent five years as a private investor and independent financial consultant, focusing on technology companies. Singer continues to serve in an advisory capacity at several companies in which he has an ownership interest. Throughout his career, Singer has been active in the arts and social organizations. He is a certified public accountant and received a BBA and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. |
