Suzy Stewart is an Executive Vice President headquartered in DHR International�s New York office. She is a senior member of DHR�s Retail / Consumer Practice and also the Global Leader, Fashion Apparel Practice. Ms. Stewart is a long term veteran of the retail, manufacturing and fashion industry, and a specialist in senior level executive search for specialty and department stores, mass merchants, multi-channel marketing, wholesale manufacturing, private label product development and international sourcing. With nearly twenty five years of first-hand Retail industry experience, and having held officer-level positions in three multi-billion dollar, publicly traded retail companies, Ms. Stewart�s diversified background includes some of the most notable names in the fashion and retail industries, including Federated Department Stores divisions, Bloomingdales, Lord & Taylor, Ann Taylor, and T. Edwards. Her retail expertise was focused on merchandising, and she is noted as an expert in the arena of private label product development and international sourcing.Her search career began in 1997 when she joined Korn Ferry International, where her experience list includes CEO, President, CMO, COO, GMM, CFO and other officer and C level assignments. Her specialties include merchandising, marketing, operations, finance, product development, sourcing, stores, strategy, new business development and manufacturing. While in retailing, she held senior executive management and merchandising positions including Assistant to the Chairman (managing all soft lines), Senior Vice President/Chief Merchandising Officer, General Merchandise Manager, Regional Director of Stores and President of a private label wholesale manufacturing firm. For five years, she also managed an international consulting practice, working with the firms of Arthur Andersen and Senn Delaney. During her retail career, Ms. Stewart served several times as a corporate officer, and was appointed to the executive committees of Bloomingdale�s, Bradlee�s and Brook�s Fashions. She participated on numerous special task forces and has established herself as a respected member of the retail and fashion apparel community.
