Theodore Space's principal areas of practice are administrative law, health care law, complex business litigation and real estate law. Ted also has substantial experience in class action litigation, planning and zoning litigation, real estate transactions and intellectual property matters, and has served terms as the firm's Managing Partner and Chairman of its Finance Committee.

His administrative law, health care law and litigation experience includes extensive representation of health care providers in certificate of need and budget review matters before the Connecticut Office of Health Care Access and its predecessor agency, the Connecticut Commission on Hospitals and Health Care, and in related litigation; representation of health care providers in a variety of other health care law matters, including business transactions; representation of health insurers with regard to subrogation claims in national mass tort litigation, including the silicone gel breast implant multidistrict litigation and the related Dow Corning Corporation bankruptcy proceedings; and representation of major dairy cooperative organizations in regulatory and litigation matters involving federal and state regulation of the dairy industry and in antitrust litigation.

Between college and law school, Ted served on active, shipboard duty as a line officer in the U.S. Navy, and, following law school, while in the U. S. Naval Reserve, was a member of the Navy JAG Corps for three years.
