Thomas A. McAvity, Jr. served as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer from September 2000 until August 2005 when he was elevated to the position of Chief Investment Strategist.
Mr. McAvity�s investment management career spans 30 years and all major asset classes. From 1996 to 2000, he was Vice President Asset Liability Management with Allstate Life Insurance Company in Northbrook, Illinois. From 1989 to 1996, he was Vice President Quantitative Research in the investment management subsidiary of Lincoln National Corporation. Prior to that, he held positions at Alex. Brown & Sons, Inc. and F.F. Saul Company.
He is a graduate of Yale University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. |
