Todd is a member of the firm�s Energy and Agribusiness group, which provides legal counsel and assistance throughout the country to energy and agribusinesses of all types, including the electric utilities and biodiesel, ethanol, and food-processing plants.Todd focuses his practice on transactional and regulatory law in both the traditional and renewable energy sectors, leads the group�s efforts in the biodiesel industry, and counsels clients on wind and other renewable power projects. He regularly advises electric utilities on a variety of economic and permitting matters before state public-utilities commissions and other state and local permitting authorities.Todd writes the monthly Legal Perspective column for Biodiesel magazine. He is a member of the National Biodiesel Board and the American Wind Energy Association.Before joining Lindquist & Vennum in 2000, Todd served as an associate general counsel at Otter Tail Power Company in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the American Bar Association (Business Law Section). |
