Uma has extensive product development and technical leadership/management experience, gained from a 14-year technology career in the embedded, networking, and storage solutions space. Before founding RealNet Solutions, Uma served at Maxtor Corporation, where she oversaw the development efforts for the company�s Linux and FreeBSD based network attached storage products. Prior to Maxtor, she played a key product development and leadership role in embedded systems (pSOS+, pSOSim, MatrixX) and networking at Wind River. As a lead member of ISI�s professional engineering services group (now Wind River), her responsibilities included managing and implementing design-wins for several of Wind River�s key accounts, Uma holds a bachelor�s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, India, and is a member of the IEEE 802.11 working group as well as the IEEE WIE (Women in Engineering) affinity group. |
