Val joined Realtime Publishers in May of 2005. He has more than 25 years experience as a senior sales and marketing executive for both Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurial startups from Executive Vice President of IDG, the world�s largest information-technology media and research company, to Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's Interval Research in Palo Alto, to Chief Marketing Officer of Google/Yahoo-competitor LookSmart, one of the Web's early search directories and search service for Microsoft MSN. Val was also CEO of Redband Broadcasting, a Sony venture, producers of Web-based audio programs for the media and entertainment industries. Val is in charge of crafting and implementing the corporate strategy to build Realtime Publishers into a leading 21st Century technology and consumer publishing company. His education includes a B.A. from Northern Michigan University and a Master's degree (history and literature) from Harvard. |
