Mr. Klich has more 34 years experience in all aspects of financial services management at the chief executive corporate regional division group head and lending officer levels. He joined BB&T in 2004 as the State President through the merger with Republic Bancshares Inc. Mr. Klich joined Republic Bank as president and chief executive officer on March 15 2000. He was elected chairman of the board and chief executive officer of the Bank in May 2002 and served as president and chief executive officer of Republic Bancshares. He served as a director on both boards. He served as a Captain in the United States Air Force.
